A: No, Perfect Lights is not currently renting Christmas Lights.

Q: What kind of lights do you install?

We use only high quality clips and have a variety of different style for different applications whether it be on eaves, shingles, siding, or trim. If we provide your clips, we ONLY charge for the quantity installed on your home and ONLY for our cost on them. There are no purchaser’s fees!

Q: Who supplies the extension cords, splitters, and timers?
A: If you have extension cords, splitters, or timers you would like us to use we certainly can as long as they are in safe working order. Perfect Lights reserves the right to refuse installing any electrical devices that appear to pose a safety concern. Q: What happens if my lights come down or stop working?
A: Perfect Lights guarantees that in the event that a strand(s) falls or any light(s) become unclipped that we will, free of charge take any necessary steps to fix them in their entirety prior to December 31st of the installation year. If a strand(s) stops working prior to December 31st of the installation year
and is one that was provided by Perfect Lights, we will replace and re-install it free of charge. If a strand(s) not provided by Prefect Lights stops working, there will be a resulting charge to replace and re-install that strand(s).

Q: Can I leave my lights up year-round?
A: We highly recommend that all Christmas lights be removed each year once the holiday season has passed. Leaving your lights up year-round causes bulbs to fade/break, clips to become brittle, and strands to stop working. UV rays along with hail and wind substantially decreases the longevity of any type or brand of Christmas Light. On average, Christmas lights that are removed each year will last upwards of three times that of ones left up year-round.

Q: How much electricity does it cost to run Christmas lights?
A: For example, (four) 25ft strings of C9 LED bulbs costs approximately $1.75 for the entire season and uses only 100 LED watts. In comparison a string of traditional style incandescentbulbs can cost up to 95% more

Q: Will you install the old style incandescent Christmas lights?
A: Yes, if you prefer the old style incandescent bulbs we will certainly install them for you. Keeping in mind that these bulbs are harder to find, repair/replace, and do require substantially more electricity to power.

Q: How do you charge for installation?
A: Installation is charged on a per job basis. The exact cost of installation is determined before the job begins and does not change or vary after the job is complete. The cost of installation on a house or business is influenced by factors such as the amount of stories, amount of peaks, distance of lights required, etc. The cost of installation on a tree is based on its height, width, and type.

Q: How early in the season can I have my lights installed?
A: Christmas light installations begin the first week of October and runs thru until the forth week of December, but keep in mind spots are limited and installations are based on a first come, first serve basis.

Q: Is there a minimum charge for installation?
A: No, Perfect Lights does NOT have a minimum charge per job. We know that every installation is unique, big or small we will make your home or business magical for the Christmas season.

Q: Will the price change or vary after the job is complete?
A: No, you have our guarantee that the price discussed prior to installation is the final price. The only way a price will vary is if you, the customer decides to make changes to the original quote.

Q: Why don't you charge for installation by the foot or by the hour?
A: Perfect Lights does NOT charge by the foot because on most occasions it is very difficult to know exactly how many feet are required prior to the job. As such you will not know the final price until the work is complete and that just isn’t fair. In addition, we do NOT charge by the hour because it is near impossible to provide an exact price prior to installation. There are many factors that can play into an hour rate such as weather and we strive to keep prices consistent for all customers.

Q: Can you install old lights from previous years?
A: Yes, we can install your lights from previous years, but it is your responsibility to insure that all the strands are both working and are reliable prior to your installation date. Perfect Lights does reserve the right to refuse the installation of any strands that appear to be faulty or hazardous.

Q: Can you provide me with new Christmas lights?
A: Perfect Lights does offer the option to provide the customer with the required Christmas Lights to make their home or business magical for the upcoming holiday season. A: Removal is only charged when your lights are taken down. We do not take payment for removal at the time of installation.
