Perfect Lights does not have a cancelation policy in effect. We understand that situations do arise and simply ask you to provide as much notice as possible. If you require a different installation date and/or time please contact us as soon as possible so we can ensure to fit you in!

FIX UPS
If any strand installed by Perfect Lights becomes unclipped or falls prior to December 31st of the installation year, we will fix it free of charge. If any strand of lights provided by Perfect Lights burns out or stops functioning properly prior to December 31st of the installation year, we will replace that strand free of charge. Alternatively, if you have provided us with the lights for installation and a strand has burnt out or stopped working, there will be a charge for replacement.
If you did not have your lights removed after the Christmas season passed, or have installed your lights yourself and are looking to have them fixed, we can certainly do so, but there will be a resulting charge.
Perfect Lights does offer installation around Central Alberta and will travel to many areas free of charge. Some areas where installations cannot be completed in multiples will have a resulting travel charge. To see if travel to your house or business is free please feel free to contact us!
REMOVAL
Perfect Lights highly suggests that all Christmas lights are removed once the holiday season passes. Having your Christmas lights removed in the New Year substantially increases their longevity and allows them to be enjoyed for years to come. Our removal process begins the first week of January with no posted end date. There are no out of season “surcharges”, so when you are ready to have your light removed feel free to contact us. The cost of removal is below 40% of the installation charge and is only payable at the time of removal. There is no minimum charge for removal.
Perfect Lights offers a few different options when it comes to the materials used for installation. The first choice is to have us purchase the Christmas lights you are wanting installed on your house or business. Perfect Lights will purchase the lights and ONLY charge for the amount used on the installation and ONLY for our cost on the items. The benefit of having us provide lights is that you will be receiving the most reliable lights at the best price, we will have the proper amount for installation, and for your simplicity. The second option is that you provide your own lights whether they are brand new or ones from years past. If you are providing new lights for the installation it is your responsibility to supply a sufficient amount of lights to complete the job. If the lights are ones from years past, they must be in perfect working order prior to the installation date. Please note that Perfect Lights reserves the right to refuse installation of any strand that appears faulty or poses a safety risk to you, your house/business, or the installer.
Both option also apply for any electrical equipment (including extensions cords, splitters, and/or timers) required for the installation. In regards to the clips used for installation, Perfect Lights recommends that you allow us to provide the correct clips required for the application. Again we ONLY charge for the amount required and ONLY for our cost on the items.
At this time Perfect Lights does not rent out Christmas lights, clips, and/or any electrical equipment.
INSTALLATION & PRICING
Perfect Lights offers numerous forms of Christmas light installation including, but not limited to installation on your eaves, peaks, fences, windows, doors, railings, decks, shrubs, bushes, and trees. We also install a variety of different types of lights including LED, incandescent, rope, remote controlled, icicle, etc. Each installation is unique in its own way and as such the cost of installation varies depending on exactly what you are looking to have completed. The cost of installation on a house or business is determined on a “by job basis” rather than a “per hour” or “per strand” rate. Perfect Lights uses this method as it provides the customer with a precise cost before the job begins and makes certain there are no after job price variations. In addition, there is no minimum charge for installation, we understand that each job varies in size and no matter how big or small we are up for the task!
When generating an installation cost on a house or business, Perfect Lights looks at how many stories are involved, whether there are any peaks, the overall amount of lights, how many sides are being done, and if the boom truck is required to complete the job. The cost of installation on a tree varies by the type and height of the tree along with how many lights, and how you would like the lights installed.
Perfect Lights bases its installation on a first come, first serve basis. Available space and popular dates do fill up fast, so do not hesitate, contact us today!
